An Evening with Our Hong Kong Foundation

Perspectives Shifted, Connections Made
July 14, 2026 by
Unforbidden City, Pauline Cheng

Last Friday's sharing session with Dr. Jane Lee and Amy Leung from Our Hong Kong Foundation was a great success.

Dr. Lee offered a candid look at how OHKF operates and the kind of research that influences policy in Hong Kong. One thing that came up repeatedly afterward: many attendees had assumed OHKF was part of the government, but it's actually an independent non-governmental organization. That clarification shifted a lot of perceptions.

Amy also introduced a new membership initiative geared toward younger professionals, which generated strong interest.

What made the evening stand out, though, was the atmosphere. Again and again, people commented that the 2GHK vibe feels fundamentally different from other chambers and associations. It was a night where like-minded individuals naturally connected, with real conversations and a shared sense of purpose.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Conrad.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event.
